Senior Jaden Allen was crowned Miss Burlington 2017 and will represent her school next week at the Miss Cinderella Talent Show and Pageant (Sept. 28 and 29) during NWOSU's Homecoming.
Burlington School Board President Terry Graham called the regular September meeting of the board to order Monday night with all members present, including: Allison Armbruster, Aaron Smith, T. J. Rockenbach and Robert Hill. Others present were: Superintendent Glen Elliott, Principal Lane Pruett, and Minutes Clerk Tamre McGinnis.
Principal Pruett reminded the board that Burlington's Junior/Senior Class Play is next Monday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. First year music teacher Isileli Ofiu is directing the play he described as a comedy/drama. The play is "Penny for Your Thoughts," written by Scott Haan. T...
