This weekend immerse yourself in the culture of the early days of when the Treaty of Medicine Lodge was signed in 1867 by the Peace Commission of the United States Government and the five tribes of Plains Indians – the Kiowa, the Comanche, the Kiowa-Apache, the Arapaho and the Cheyenne.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22–24, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, holds Indian Summer Days with fun events throughout the town all weekend and the Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Pageant Arena just southeast of Medicine Lodge.
