A man from Woodward died after falling into the path of a train Sunday near Medford. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, David Duane McCullum, 43, of Woodward was walking on top of the train when he slipped, falling between the train cars. He was then struck by the train.

The fatal incident occurred at 5:02 p.m. on SH-11 a quarter mile east of Medford in Grant County. The train was at the Chisholm Trail grain terminal when the accident occurred.
