The Woods County Excise Board must review and approve each budget submitted by governmental agencies in Woods County. Wednesday morning, Sept. 20, only three budgets were ready. The Northwest Technology Center general fund budget of $9,816,456.40 and building fund budget of $3,704,056.39 were approved. The Woods County Health Department budget of $687,353 was voted okay, and the Town of Freedom Budget of $157,508.18 was approved.

Clerk Shelley Reed said a special meeting may have to be called to handle the budgets that have not been turned in.
