Recreation park authority enrolls volleyball

The adult volleyball season starts Oct. 6 at the Alva Recreational Complex. Enrollment continues at the rec park office.
Current period revenue is $52,841.41. Joe Don Dunham, city manager, reports that sales tax revenue is up 17 percent from the low of one year ago. Cash on hand for the rec park is $299,303.86 with investments of $409,490.19.
Dunham believes the baseball field shade structure construction project will begin in 60 days or less. He said no answer has been received from their request to Share Trust for financial help on the project.
