Oklahoma Baptist ends SNU's streak of GAC home openers

BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene was held to a .000 hitting percentage in a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-22) loss to Oklahoma Baptist in the Great American Conference home opener.

It was the first GAC home opening loss since the Crimson Storm (6-7, 1-1 GAC) joined the conference in 2012.

Bailee Turang had a team-high eight kills and added eight digs while Makenna Hunter had six kills and three bocks. Kylie Smith added 25 assists and seven digs to go with two blocks. Meagan Ellis had two aces, five kills, 13 digs and a block. Elyse Berlin had 19 digs while Hannah Davis had 13.

SNU had four team bloc...
