SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 23, 2017) – For the second time in three days, Oklahoma Christian pushed a Heartland Conference opponent to overtime on the road, only to come away empty.

This time, it was St. Mary's (Texas) who rallied for a 2-1 overtime win over the Lady Eagles on Saturday afternoon at Sigma Beta Chi Field. The Rattlers scored the game-winner in the 103rd minute on an own goal by OC, after tying the game with a second-half penalty kick.

OC (1-7, 0-5 Heartland) took the lead in the 37th minute. Corina Marin, making only her second appearance of the season, headed a cross from fellow freshman Brianna Concienne past St. Mary's goalkeeper Erin Longford. It was Marin's first career goal and the fourth assist of the season for Concienne, who has scored or assisted on five of OC's six goals in 2017.

Referee Amanda Dibiasio awarded St. Mary's (5-3, 3-2) a penalty kick in the 62nd minute and Roxy Cruz Santory converted for the Rattlers, beating OC goalkeeper Addison Milner to tie the game.

After a scoreless first overtime, the own goal for the Lady Eagles came early in the second overtime. The OT loss came two days after the Lady Eagles fell 2-1 in overtime at Texas A&M International on Thursday night.

Milner, the Heartland's leader in saves, increased her season total to 57 by making eight stops against St. Mary's. Longford had two saves for St. Mary's, which outshot OC 18-8, including 10-2 after halftime.

OC's six-game road stretch will continue next Thursday when the Lady Eagles visit in-state rival Rogers State.
