Women's Cross Country takes home a 10th place finish at Emporia State

EMPORIA, Kan. – It was a windy day in Emporia where the Northwestern Oklahoma State women's cross country team took home a 10th place finish Friday.

Kendy Salinas paced the Rangers, finishing in 40th overall after running a time of 22:55 for the entire meet. The freshman from Guymon ran another personal best and has reached new heights each race and led the Black and Red for the first time all season.

Steady runner, Kayla Gourley, came in 51st place and paced herself with a 7:14 mile average to complete the race in 22:30.
