Democrat candidate for governor visits Alva

Friday, Sept. 22, Oklahoma Rep. Scott Inman made a campaign stop in Alva as part of his goal of visiting all 77 counties before the gubernatorial primary.

Inman has been House minority leader for the last seven years. He has served a total of 11 years in the Oklahoma House representing his hometown of Del City.

The main thrust of Inman's message is he believes the tax cuts, gross production tax breaks and other tax credits are devastating to all elements of Oklahoma government.

He said, "Regardless of party or partisan affiliation, we all want good schools, good roads and bridges, good health...
