On Saturday, Sept. 16, the Burlington Cross Country team competed at a meet at Cherokee High School. Four junior high girls ran. Brooke Whittet placed fourth with a time of 6:41. Karlie Heatherman placed 12th with a time of 7:13. Savannah Granados placed 14th with a time of 7:18 and Bethany Landrum placed 36th with a time of 9:46.

Two high school team members participated. For the girls, Anna Motycka placed 24th with a time of 16:07. In the boys high school race, Rory Olson placed 24th with a time of 23:05.
