I made my way back to Oklahoma State Capitol this past week for the Legislature’s special session that started Monday.

Despite most people’s thoughts that a narrowly focused special session would be best, Gov. Fallin called on lawmakers to address four issues during our time back at the Capitol. Fallin recommended legislators find a way to fill the $215 million hole caused by the unconstitutional cigarette fee passed in March; look at agency consolidation and other efficiencies; address a teacher pay raise; and clarify an oversight on a bill passed during regular session.

That’s a lot of tasks...
