CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State women's soccer team took control early and never looked back in a dominating 2-0 win over Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night (Sept. 28) at Soldier Field.

The Hillcats (7-2, 4-2 Heartland Conference) needed only six minutes to gain a 1-0 advantage on the visiting Eagles. Senior Daisy Cardona put the Cats up 1-0 on a header to the far post on a cross from Maggie Brown for the early edge in the sixth minute. The tally was Cardona's team-leading sixth of the season and her fourth game winner.
