Watts leads Rangers in golf season opener

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team opened up their season Monday at John Conrad Golf Course in the 2017 Fall Oklahoma Baptist Invitational with a team score of 331.
Freshman Ashley Watts began her college career in fine fashion with a team-low round of 79. Watt's opening round places her in a tie for 19th place.
Cameron University posted a team score of 300 to lead the host school Oklahoma Baptist by seven strokes. Cameron's Kennedy Wheeler and Western Texas Community College's Kiana Oshiro paced the field with rounds of two-under par 70.
