Oct. 7 is pumpkin day in Alva. I'm sure with all the activities planned it will be a hit. Cherokee had turnip day sometime in the past. I'm glad we opted for pumpkin and not radish day.

This last Friday was customer appreciation day at WD Guns out on east Flynn. I don't buy guns, but I know someone that does, so I will just follow them in for free food. As stirred up as I can get, probably a gun from Wal Mart with the red plastic cover on the end covering a cork is better for me.
