I've received a couple of calls reminding me that repeated warnings are needed on some of the scams perpetrated on old people. The first is the grandparent scam, which I mentioned a few months ago. The grandparent receives a call from someone who identifies themselves as their grandchild and says, “Please help me. I'm out of the country and I got picked up on a DUI and am in jail and need help in posting a bond so I can get out. Please ... Please ... Please don't tell Mom and Dad.
