If you have seen these ambitions students fundraising around town, you can know it is for a good cause.

The Alva Robotics team started their fundraising drive last Friday asking residents to help them compete in the upcoming Heartland BEST contest to be held on the campus of Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Oct. 28.

The team's goal this year is to raise enough funds to buy the parts that they are using on their robot so they will not have to return them after the competition is over. Funds will also be used to purchase T-shirts and buy materials to build their presentation booth.
