Eagles earn Team Academic Award from coaches' association

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 6, 2017) – Oklahoma Christian's men's team has been named as the recipient of a Team Academic Award for 2016-17 from the United Soccer Coaches.

The coaches' association, formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, bestows the honor annually to teams that post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. OC, which had a team GPA of 3.005, was one of 282 collegiate men's teams that met that standard. OC was one of only two Heartland Conference men's programs to receive the honor.
