Simmons receives educator award

Claude Simmons Jr., a graduate of Waynoka High School, has been selected to receive the National Federation of High Schools Outstanding Music Educator Award for Section 6, representing Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Next year, the national award will be chosen from all the Section awards.
Simmons received his bachelor in music and masters in administration at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
