WCREA meeting at the Homestead

Twenty were in attendance at the Woods County Retired Educators Association (WCREA) meeting on Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Homestead Retirement Center.
Tim Argo, assistant superintendent of Alva Public Schools, spoke about some of the things his job entails – curriculum, development and how teachers do what they do best. He explained the overview of the year is broken down by teachers into weekly objectives. Explaining the new vocabulary of the curriculum is another of Argo's functions.
He is joining the new technology age in communicating with parents, teachers, students and concerned citizens...
