OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 7, 2017) – On the bright side, Oklahoma Christian came away with a standings point on Saturday afternoon against Heartland Conference rival Lubbock Christian (Texas) – something that had happened only one time in seven previous meetings.
Still, the Eagles left Putnam City Stadium lamenting that it should have been more. Playing a man down, Lubbock Christian scored a game-tying goal in the final four minutes of regulation and limited OC's offensive chances thereafter during a 1-1 tie.
