ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The East Central University soccer team picked up a key 1-0 shutout win over Ouachita Baptist in Great American Conference road action. The win moved ECU into a tie for third in the GAC standings, after entering in fifth.

The Tigers (5-4-2, 2-1-2 GAC) saw the goal from freshman Allie Verner. Junior Chloe Hull earned her fourth shutout win of the season, with two saves.

ECU took control of the match throughout, recording seven shots on goal to just two by the other Tigers (3-7-1, 3-3 GAC).
