An investigation is ongoing by the KBI following an officer-involved shooting in Sun City, Kansas, that resulted in the death of Sun City resident Steven Myers, age 42.

According to an Associated Press report, the incident happened last Friday evening, Oct. 6, in south central Kansas. Reportedly the Barber County Sheriff's Office requested KBI assistance at approximately 7:35 p.m. KBI agents and the Crime Scene Response Team responded to investigate the incident.
