Sunday, Oct. 8, the order of services at the Freedom United Methodist Church was:

Scripture: Matthew 1:33-46 The parable of the vineyard owner who sends servants to receive the produce of the vineyard, the people kill the servants, the vineyard owner sends another larger group of servants that the people also kill. The owner then sends his son, thinking they would surely respect his son; however, the people also kill the son. Jesus shared this parable comparing the chief priests and when the Pharisees heard this parable they wanted to kill Jesus; then, however, they knew the multitude believed Him to be a prophet.
