After a five-game winning streak, the Alva Goldbugs suffered their first loss of the season against Chisholm last week. Chisholm now sits at the top of the seven-team 2A District 1 rankings with a 3-0 record while Alva is in the middle at fourth. Perry is ranked last.

Alva travels to Perry tonight for a 7 p.m. game. The Goldbugs go into the game with a 1-1 district record and 5-1 overall. The Perry Maroons have yet to win a district game with three losses. Their season record to date is 3-4.
