ALVA, OKLA. – The East Central University soccer team fell to Northwestern Oklahoma State, 2-1, in Great American Conference action on the road.

The Tigers (5-5-2, 2-2-2 GAC) were out shot by the Rangers (4-9-1, 3-5 GAC) 12-5 for the match, with four players earning a shot on goal for ECU.

Sophomore Lizette Carreon scored the goal for the Tigers and recorded two shots on goal. Junior Chloe Hull played in net for ECU and recorded 10 saves.

The teams battled through a scoreless first half before NWOSU got on the scoreboard at the 58-minute mark.
