Woods County Mineral Owners to hold annual meeting

October 15, 2017

The Woods County Mineral Owners Association will hold a meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Alva campus of Northwest Technology Center. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the seminar room of the center. Jared Boehs will be the featured speaker at the meeting.

Boehs earned his bachelor of science in agricultural economics with a minor in finance from Oklahoma State University in May 2004. Upon graduation, he entered the oil and gas industry as a field landman. He worked in the field for three years before selling the business to become the land manager for a small independent oil and gas company where he gained experience drilling wells and managing minerals across the U.S. In June 2016, Boehs started Cutter Energy with a focus on representing and protecting the interests of mineral and surface owners. He is originally from Fairview, where he remains involved with his family farm and ranch operations. Boehs and his wife, Carissa, currently reside in Piedmont.

A short business meeting will follow Boehs' presentation. All members are encouraged to attend.
