Michelle Schroeder, 67, of Freedom was struck by a vehicle leaving a private drive Monday evening. She was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in stable condition with head and trunk injuries. The driver of the 2000 Cadillac Escalade was Dennis Schroeder, 68, of Freedom. He was not injured.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the vehicle was parked in a private drive before beginning to leave and striking the woman. The incident occurred Oct. 16 about 6:50 p.m. on Jackson Road west of County Road 110. The location is about seven miles west and one m...
