Alva High School's one-act team presented "A Piece of My Heart" at Deer Creek Festival and received all Superior ratings. Shadi Nettles and Priscilla Samaniego were selected to the all star cast. As a team they won Best Set, Best Ensemble, Best Company and Fan Favorite.
