This semester Washington Elementary conducted a raffle that collected over 300 pounds of food for the food bank and raised $110 for Scholastic’s All For Books program, which was used to purchase 25 new books for Washington students. Students purchase raffle tickets for $.25 or an item for the food bank. The raffle winners were Ryder Arric and Sophia Sherman. They each won a box filled with books and other items worth over $100.
