Alva racks up 402 yards to Pawhuska's 97

In Alva High School football against Pawhuska Thursday night, most of the starters were able to sit out the second half of the contest. Alva led 41-0 at the half and the final score was Alva 48, Pawhuska 8.
Looking at offensive stats, Alva ran 29 times for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Passing was five for 8 attempts for a total of 212 yards and four touchdowns. Alva made 37 plays for a gain of 402 yards and seven TDs.
On the defensive side, the Goldbugs gave up only 72 yards rushing on 28 carries. The Huskies completed two of five passing attempts for 25 yards.
