Ron Rohr is running for mayor of Kiowa, Kansas.

Ronald L. Rohr Jr. (Ron) moved to Kiowa eight years ago, in 2009. His wife is Susan and they have a daughter, Jennifer, and grandson, Brian. He works for Thurman Farms and at The Corner Stop. Rohr said this is his first time ever to run for public office. Why is he running? He said simply, "To serve." He added, "It is a privilege and an obligation as a citizen of the USA to serve." Quoting John F. Kennedy, Rohr said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
Rohr and his wife entertain the residents at the Kiowa Manor with music....
