Burlington basketball has kicked off for the year for both the Elks and Lady Elks.
The Lady Elks have had three scrimmages so far. Coach Kirsten Pruett said the team did not engage as much as she liked in the first two, but in the third scrimmage, she said they picked up on where she wants them to be at this year. Coach Pruett feels great about her team and believes there is a lot of potential that can be brought out on the court this year. The Lady Elks take practice very seriously, and Coach Pruett says that she does push them a little hard but this amazing team gives a lot of good feedback...
