Burlington students participate in Red Ribbon Week

Burlington elementary students sign drug-free poster during Red Ribbon Week.

On Oct. 23 – 27, Burlington school celebrated Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that encourages students to remain drug free.

The Burlington students signed Red Ribbon Pledge posters, watched drug free videos, wrote chalk messages on the sidewalks around the school, and got to wear pajamas to school on Friday for the theme, "Don't get caught sleeping, say no to drugs!"

The student council prepared a drug free video that was presented to the elementary students, and the high school watched a presentation by the Alfalfa County Sheriff's Department....
