Tiger Volleyball Falls in Near Upset

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist volleyball team (15-10, 6-6 GAC) fell in five sets Thursday night against conference foe Harding (23-3, 11-1 GAC). The Tigers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the match with 29-27 and 25-19 set wins before falling 25-18, 25-22 and 15-12 to the Bisons.

As a team, the Tigers closed out the match with 75 kills and a .280 hitting percentage. Harding finished with 70 kills on a .217 hitting percentage.

Adrianna Nolly and Kori Bullard led all players with 20 and 19 kills, respectively. Nolly also finished with a team high five blocks while Bullard and Anna Lee Drennan picked up two blocks apiece.

Stormi Leonard finished with a match high 67 assists and Nikki Clay led the Tigers with 22 digs. Katie Camp led the way in aces with two.

The Tigers will look to rebound at Henderson State on Halloween night in the two teams' second Battle of the Ravine match this season. The Tigers won in five sets against the Reddies earlier this season. Tuesday's match is set to start at 7 p.m.
