From the age of 4, Darin Kearns – the new pastor at Alva Friends Church – has found ways to express the music in his soul. As a youngster, that was largely through his drumset, which he played all the time. Some parents might find that a bit challenging, but Kearns said his parents (whose room was well separated from Kearns' own, where his drum playing took place) always said they loved to hear him play.
That alone might indicate he had some extraordinary family members.
Another extraordinary aspect of his family might be the generations' involvement in Barclay College - an Evangelical Friends...
