Goldbugs play at Newkirk tonight

The Alva Goldbugs travel to Newkirk tonight for the final game of the regular season. Game time is 7 p.m.
The Newkirk Tigers are 2-3 in district play and 4-5 overall. The Tigers lost to Hennessey 29-14 last week. They are ranked at fifth place in the district.
The Goldbugs defeated Tonkawa 41-13 last week and are ranked second in the district behind Chisholm. Alva has a 4-1 district record and 8-1 season showing. Chisholm is 5-0 in the district and 8-1 for the season.
