DALLAS, Texas – Rogers State women's soccer advanced to the Heartland Conference Championship via penalty kicks after a 2-2 draw with St. Edward's on Thursday (Nov. 2) at Patriot Field. The Hillcats (13-3-3) edged the Hilltoppers in the penalty kick shootout, 6-5, to move on to Saturday's championship contest.

Senior Daisy Cardona clinched it with her penalty kick goal. With each team converting five PKs, SEU missed an attempt and allowed Cardona to propel the Hillcats to the championship match with her shot that froze the Topper goalkeeper and went to the lower left corner of the goal.
