Iowa man charged with refusing to stop for officer

A man from Iowa has been charged with a felony in Woods County. The incident occurred on Friday, Oct. 13, at Little Sahara State Park at Waynoka.

According to court documents, Woods County Deputy Adam Honeyman was patrolling in the south campgrounds about 9:20 p.m. when he saw a blue Yamaha four-wheeler going south on the main public roadway. He observed the vehicle did not have a functioning taillight in violation of state law and state park rules.
