Jeff White resigns from Cherokee School Board

Cherokee School Board President Kory Littlefield swears in new board member Kurtis Goodwin.

Early in the Cherokee Board of Education meeting Monday night a letter of resignation was read from board member Jeff White. The board accepted the resignation and declared Seat 1 vacant. Later, after an executive session, the board returned to open session and voted to fill the seat with Kurtis Goodwin, who then was sworn in. The board voted to approve a special education policy written by the OSSBA.
