Northwestern student dies in rollover

A student attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University died in a one-vehicle rollover accident early Sunday morning. According to a university spokesperson, Joaquin Alonso Rivero-Venegas, 18, of Coldwater, Kansas, enrolled this fall as a full time student at NWOSU in Alva where he was majoring in agriculture. He was also a member of the rodeo team. He graduated in May 2017 from South Central High School.
