Waynoka School Board reports above-average ACT scores

The Waynoka School Board of Education reported in its Monday night meeting that the students' scores detailed in the ACT College Readiness Letter it received are all above the state average. Board members attending the meeting were Clint Olson, Garret Gum, Rick George and Travis George. Andy Ferguson was absent.

Meriweather read the letter during his presentation of the annual dropout and college remediation report for the 2017-2018 school year. All of the scores Meriweather reported were higher than the state average, including math at a 19.1 percent average, and reading at a 22.4 percent...
