O'Banion eclipses 1,000 career kills; Lady Muleriders edged by Ouachita in four sets

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Senior opposite hitter Alli O'Banion produced 17 kills at a .361 attack percentage on Tuesday evening and in the process became just the fifth Lady Mulerider in the Rally Scoring Era (RSE) to eclipse 1,000 career kills, while Southern Arkansas was edged in four sets by Ouachita in Great American Conference action inside the Sturgis Physical Education Center in Arkadelphia.

O'Banion became just the second SAU player since 2000 to cap her career with 1,000 kills and 300 total blocks joining Maggie Ross who did it from 2006 to 2010. Earlier this season, the Dos Palos, Californ...
