Alva scouts collect 2,540 pounds of food

Alva Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts canvassed the town this past weekend collecting food for the local food pantry. The scouts collected 2,540 pounds of food this year. This food will be used in the holiday food baskets that the local food pantry distributes. This is one of the best years the scouts had collecting food, thanks to all the people who gave so generously.
