Second Half Goal Lifts SWOSU over Missouri Western

MANKATO, Minn. – SWOSU Soccer used a goal in the 66th minute from the foot of the nation's leading scorer Alimata Rabo to move past No. 3 seed Missouri Western 1-0 in the opening round of the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
Based on the flow of the game it wasn't a matter of if the Bulldogs were going to score, but when it was going to happen. SWOSU controlled the ball for much of the contest, outshooting the Griffons 16-11 overall and 8-1 on goal. Many of the MWSU shots also came in desperation at the end of both halves and were inflated on the final stat line.
