Reddies Lose 72-71 Heartbreaker to NWOSU in Alva

ALVA, Okla. — Henderson State had the ball with 11 seconds remaining in a 71-71 game and a chance to take the final shot on Thursday night against Northwestern Oklahoma State, but a miss and a foul in the backcourt after a NWOSU rebound led to the Lady Rangers' Jade Jones hitting one free throw with four seconds remaining to win it 72-71 in dramatic fashion for NWOSU.

After an offensive rebound from Bree Bossier on a Haleigh Henson miss with 12 seconds to go in the game gave Henderson a chance to take timeout, Hailey Estes missed a driving layup and then got too close to the NWOSU guard Jones...
