Woods County commissioners renew with OSU Extension Service

Each year, the OSU Extension Service and the Woods County commissioners sign a contract for services. The cost to the county is $64,240 per year and that represents 1.6 staff members. It used to be 2.0 staff members, but one is now being shared with Alfalfa County. The cost was not a surprise as the commissioners had seen the dollar figures earlier in the annual Estimate of Needs.
