Burlington students donate to food bank

The Burlington school had their annual Thanksgiving food drive hosted by the student council the week before Thanksgiving. The junior high and high school collected 580 items and the elementary brought 292 items, but the entire school collected a total of 872 total items. Eighth grade won first place with 168 items while the 11th grade got second place with 166 items. These food items will be donated to the food bank in Cherokee.
