Hillcats Fade Late in 74-65 Loss to SBU

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State women's basketball team led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but faded late in a 74-65 loss to Southwest Baptist on Saturday (Dec. 2) at the Claremore Expo Center.

The Hillcats (3-5) started the game with an 11-2 run in the first five minutes of the game to hold control early. Darian Jacksonput the navy and red up 11-2 with 5:24 left in the period on a jumper.

Nikola Nedoroscikova upped the edge to 16-6 with a 3-pointer she banked in with 2:05 remaining in the first period. RSU had a 18-10 lead after one quarter.
