Southwestern Oklahoma Defeats Harding Men's Basketball Saturday in GAC Action

SEARCY – Southwestern Oklahoma's Jerry Hurt made a 3-pointer with just over two minutes left and a layup with 54 seconds left to help the Bulldogs pull out a 71-70 victory over the Harding men's basketball team Saturday in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
Harding (0-5, 0-4) tied the game at 66-66 on an Adam Horn layup with 2:41 left, the ninth tie of the game. Two possessions later Hurt hit the 3-pointer to put Southwestern (2-6, 1-3) ahead.
