LeMoyne-Owen Defeats Harding Men's Basketball in Nonconference Matchup

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Harding men's basketball suffered a poor shooting first half and could not recover, losing 81-67 to LeMoyne-Owen Tuesday in nonconference action at Bruce Hall Gymnasium.

Harding (0-6) shot 23 percent in the first half and trailed 46-23 at halftime. LeMoyne-Owen (3-6) missed all eight of its 3-point attempts in the first half but shot 19 of 35 inside the arc.

Harding used a 9-1 run midway through the second half to cut LeMoyne-Owen's lead to 12 at 58-46 with 10:32 left. The Bisons, who shot 53 percent after halftime, got to within 12 on three other occasions in the second half...
